Yea I don’t know much either, I only had luck with Wilson 2k before also, but on Wilson I hated having to find something to cut the antenna with to set swr. This one is just like a Wilson but I can set it without cutting. I hope it continues works good. I hate to waste 25 bucks

That’s what I do. I had a sun shield I got from Iowa 80 truck stop my first year. You can probably get the same stuff and cut it to size from a hardware store
This is how I ran my cooler wire and on off switch. I used sunglasses holders you can get at any truck stop. My cooler is wired into the cb terminal. -

Video I saw on Facebook showed a dart truck. I made it about 30 miles short of Knoxville then ran out of hours. Loading took way too long and then the spotter dropped the loaded tank accidentally and messed up the landing gear. So I'm running with no pads till I unload and can drop it off in Joliet.
