Haven't been there in ages, but I remember it was a PIA going through the town because of construction. I'm sure its finished by now tho.

I'll sometimes just do my reset there if they have room and leave before morning rush hour. Btw those CT rest areas are most likely going to be closed starting in June unless the CT legislature appropriates more money to keep them open, which isn't likely to happen.

Sitting here unloading in Madison NC. Picked up the load in Riedsville NC for a whopping 28 miles loaded. They had me deliver another drivers Plaquemine load at 6 AM to Brown Summit then grab this one. Hourly local work today. Even though I had to touch hoses(the horror) it’s easier than normal local drop hooking trailers all day. Hopefully won’t have to do jury duty tomorrow and get another day off.

I’m parked in mt Vernon Missouri, this morning when I left Cincinnati 74 got nasty before Indy, all ice for miles. Cars and trucks wrecked everywhere, they had 74 shut down ahead of me so I took back roads for awhile, I made it around but if u saw what I was driving on back in there.. nervous wreck.,, never again for sure.. just thankful I made it off that ice

Same here left our Lansing yard about 4:45 was heading to Tuscola il. Empty everything was fine till I hit I 57 south made it 10 miles when all hell broke loose, pure ice cars in ditches atleast 20 of them.
7 jacknifed semis. I went 5 more miles lost traction 2x and decided to get off the dam road.
Parked it for 2hrs. Waited for the sun and salt trucks.
Later in the day I heard the news reporting 100s of accidents and 3 fatalities.

There were 2 of them in the ditch near Joliet on 80.

I swapped loads yesterday and ran down to NC. I'm glad I did. Got the truck washed, had a great Mexican dinner. Pick up my preload tomorrow and truck it bank to Joliet for someone else to deliver to GB.
