Wow! I can't believe they're going to put that money into a truck that will only be around for another couple of months. Surprised that they couldn't get another truck from a different terminal for that short time. So what's the new truck going to be, Mack or Peterbilt?

I don't know. Probably a Mack since they are buying 3 times as many.

Superior will spend some money to keep the customers happy. On several occasions they have had a tow truck bring me a spare truck and tow mine back to the yard from 2-300 miles away to get a load delivered on time. A 600 mile tow bill has to cost a pretty penny.

Did an 'OM*censored*G EMERGENCY HOT LOAD!!!!!* yesterday out of MT. Sterling, OH to Hatfield, IN and unloaded it this morning. A custom , nasty product and of course my stupid pump leaks.
I have to pick up the same prpsuct at a differnt plant tomorrow morning, just north of Memphis and take it to a farmer 80 miles away, then head back and reload the same thing and take a batch to greenville, Mississippi, amd run out of hours

I am picking up a load in Taylor Mi Monday. Tank has to be washed out in the morning. Pulled into our Dayton terminal planning to camp out there to get washed out first thing in the morning. Couldn't get into the driver room. They must have changed the code.

Dropped my trailer and off duty drove down to the Loves. Will head back in time to meet tankwash guys when they arrive. Showers are nicer and I get free drinks here.

    scythe08 and Orange713 Thank this.

Getting loaded now. Been dragging my feet all morning. They got me washed out pretty quick. I have only been here once and it was a cluster. Space to load 3 trucks. There were 6 and no good place to stage.

For that reason I didn't want to leave too early. Sat 45 minutes at the tankwash after cleaning. Took a 30 minute break on the way and pulled in an hour early. I am the only truck here. Loader was expecting me at noon rather than 1300 so I was right on time.

And I'm sitting at home because the customer can't get their head out of their butt. I'm really starting to dislike dedicated runs.

Got a live load in Quincy, MA just before morning rush hour starts. This is an easy drop n hook in MO, which puts me on the Memphis inbound.
