Out and back NI load to Mitchell, SD this am.
Will stop and bid on Thanksgiving work enroute.
Going to work for the premium pay tomorrow.
Will ask the better half to grab a togo plate of turkey et al for my dinner after work.

Somebody grabbed my loaded trlr so had to fill one which prevents a return to plant...holiday inn for me tonight.

Gotta love our holiday pay!

(Whenever there’s a holiday, I actually volunteer for a 6th day that same week )

 

I got 2" into the tank yesterday and my pump failed. Customer wanted me to come back on Sunday with a truck that would work. Uh oh, no, since it's my truck. Convinced them to string a couple hundred feet of hose together and we aired off with nitrogen. Disconnecting hoses full of product was no fun. Not a fun day but in the end we persevered and got the job done. I think the customer appreciated the effort.
