anyone notice that no one cares past these 2 that highjacked the thread when a couple of us only wanted to know enough to use the cb as a tool to get down the road safely I still never had my question answered from 2 days ago
and weren't cb's all licensed back in the day until no one did it and the goverment just gave up Seems i remember ny first couple of boats having FCC licenses for all my radios

Exactly! If you go cheep you get cheep! Spend $300.00 on a good radio and see what happens. Cobras are the lowest of the low tho the cobra 200GTL is a great radio. As stated several times in the past posts I recommend a Ranger RCI Brand. I also think the higher costing Galaxied are good.Big rig series Galaxies are the best of the best in the Galaxy line.
