Which Companies DO NOT Have Manual Trucks?

    Think about that for a second. You're suggesting there's almost one semi truck for every two people in the United States? That figure includes things like pickups, SUVs, and vans.

    You had been talking about the "power units" that FedEx Freight operates, which would be Class 8 trucks. There are only around 4 million class 8 trucks registered in the US. Economics and Industry Data

    I agree and I realized I left a sentence out....it was late
    I was trying to show why my original statement of something wrong about # of power units at Fed Ex and others seemed off..,and the website I posted about the 161 million came from both the TT article and another link from this thread....
    Which all contributed to my initial post
    When I stated something is very very wrong with these numbers

    would you agree fedex freight is bottlenecked? they don't run out of customers?

    I think FX’s customer base is practically unlimited. FX never has earnings reports remarking that they don’t have enough customers. Not enough freight is a different story.
