Schneider has a veteran program. ATS has a veteran program . Those two are the only ones that come to mind.
-
If I was taking training using GI benefits I'd get the training at a community college or private school rather than become an indentured slave for a mega carrier .
-
the benefits are for while youre driving fo a company. the VA pays u monthly on top of what you are paid from the company. couldnt find any info through ATS about veterans benefits

ROEHL's website says they do. It's one of the options under their Honor Program.

Roehl offers free CDL training at no cost and no obligation remain in their employ upon receiving your license to recently (within 12 months) separated vets, and offers a 2 year apprenticeship with salaried pay that's used in conjunction with your GI Bill. If you stay with them after getting you CDL, I'd suggest asking for mileage pay instead of the salary only if you don't need the security of a set paycheck each week. They will run the crap outta you if you're salaried because it costs them less to do so. Good Luck!
wheelman357 and steveo Thank this. -
Any others?

US Express has the program??
-
Some companies "support" the military and veterans but do not necessarily offer the GI Bill Apprenticeship program. Read the details carefully.

TMC has the apprentice program. If you are still in and have dependants I would recomend transfering it to them. If you sign onto one of these companies and don't finish the program I think you loose that money. I transfered my GI bill to my wife and she is getting a LOT more than I would have if I had done this program.
