Live and learn though. Best of luck and be safe out there. With those two on your record you have two less chances to screw up than a new driver with no accidents in their history. -
ok i had a big flop jab 7th with this crazy winter we been having up in indiana on i-80, i have 3-4 months of driving under my belt but i also have a DOT recordable accident cause of a freaking tow truck being called to the run off into ditch and up enbankment from hitting ice......trooper said it was icey road conditions was even nice (-17degrees out) when i had to strip top layer of clothes off full of snow in his car and soak it.....i now am looking for employment hoping the companies will have 2nd chance for me considering this is bad time to be training in the northeast though i had been up there the whole month of dec delivering loads from maine to chicago....my mvr was clean til that happened for past 19 yrs except seat belt tickets 14 yrs ago.....anybody now if i might have a shot at getting an 'ok' job????

I got on with Werner. They weren't my first choice, but beggars can't be choosers right now. Just happy to have a job at this point. Finished orientation yesterday, now they've got me in the company hotel on their dime, and I'm getting paid $400 a week while I wait on a trainer, and I'll get $400 a week while I'm in training.
I'm going to make the best of it and get my seat time and go earn my keep. Right now that's all that matters. Just thankful to have gotten an opportunity. -
