I know Prime does... SNI... CRE. Hopefully someone more in the know will chime in.
-
I think USX is also moving that way now.
-
It wont be long before most, if not all of the Mega OTR Companies use Electronic Logs. Its wise to keep a Paper Log Book as well just to cover Your own Behind.
-
USX is using paperless and paper....the way I understand is that we have to use both until they get approval to just go paperless. The big bummer is that we don't have a "Off duty driving" line. Every time the truck runs over .7 miles or hits 3rd gear it kicks me in as driving.
-
Your best bet is to ask who is not using them yet.
-
Central Ref. runs them. If you are a new driver it probably isn't going to matter to you either way.
-
Some Con-Way Truckload trucks are on them already (like us), others will be switching over gradually over the next couple months is what we were told. They are hoping to have all trucks on it by mid 2011.
-
I just finished Swift orientation. I was told that we would be going there sometime in 2011.

Walmart is paperless.
a driver on paperless logs is required to carry blank sheets in case the computer goes down. Some DOTs have gotten into the habit of asking to see your backup sheets.Mike' Thanks this.
