I know nothing about them. They seem to have brand new equipment all across the country, so I do not know where the garbage comes in. Unless they have messed up management. They are an LTL carrier, so messed up management is kind of a given![]()
Which company in Phoenix AZ?

Don't know if YRC or it's affiliates (USF Holland and Reddeway, New Penn) interest you. A DUI Pyle is another, although they have reefers on some of their trailers.
You might also try looking into Private Fleets as well. Many food distributors have Private Fleets. Frito Lay is an excellent job (can make $100k). Bimbo Bakeries (Enentehmans, Sarah Lee, Thomas's) is another. Fresh Del Monte, Dietz & Watson, Tropicana are Union jobs. Goya, Clemens Foods, Tyson and Perdue (being a local chicken or grain hauler). Dean Foods, HP Hood hauling milk. Nestle, Kellogg's (scratch Kellogg's, they're getting rid of their private fleet). Shaw and Mohawk delivering flooring (Shaw pays about $25 an hour). Costco pays about $25.50. And many many others. Just look for any Distribution Center to see if they have a private fleet.
Working for a Grocery outfit pays excellent too. SuperValu, Albertsons, ACME, Safeway (ACME delivers for them on the East Coast). ShopRite/Wakefern, Wegmans, Publix, etc. Easy job and you can make over $100k.
You can also try looking into Mail Hauling as well. USPS is a Federal job and you can potentially make over $100 an hour in OT. Contract Carriers make around $27 an hour (that's if you deny health benefits). Easy work too.trecord88 Thanks this. -
Sho Nuff Thanks this.

Checkout Costco too, they have a DC in Phoenix and their own fleet.

Mountain Valley Express is hiring in Phoenix, the pay is ok but not up there with the big companies. 19 your first year, 20 the second year, and top pay is 22 the year after. OT after 10 and 50.

Hey @trecord88 don't waste your time with central transport. All new trucks and some new trailers but a lot of old worn out junk trailers. No direct deposit, horrible management, crappy insurance. Worst company that I've ever worked at, trucking and nontrucking.
This company thrives on intimidation and fear mongering. They love to threaten people with write ups constantly. Just a couple weeks ago they had a night supervisor and dispatcher quit without notice. This was in Phoenix btw.
Their turnover is through the roof. I would rather go back otr than work at that craphole.Bob Dobalina and LoneCowboy Thank this. -

Not sure what your job history is or anything but maybe checkout Ruan or even foodservice. At least you get local experience with foodservice than make the move over to ltl. Maybe one of the temp services, a temp to hire permanent position. I know some people have had good luck that route.
I'm just throwing some ideas out there I guess. Try tankers even, Coastal Transport comes to mind. Don't know the pay but they do train on tanker though. Ltl definitely has the best hours generally.
