Recent CDL graduate.
Just want good training to be a safe driver and not get any accidents.
No driver facing camera.
I got an offer from May Trucking Company, but they only offer 10 days on the road traing and 4 days in a class room. May Trucking is offering to have me start training in a week or two from now.
Freymiller has much longer training, but nothing for sure yet. I have to keep calling back for a trainer. Which I have been doing for weeks.
Werner I think is 3 - 6 weeks training, but their reputation seems not so good. Seems like they don't care about their drivers and try to pump out new drivers and seems pretty mixed reviews about their training from what I have read.
Should I wait for a while longer for Freymiller? Or just go with Werner for longer training or is Werner to just be avoided if possible? Or just go for May Trucking Company?
Thanks in Advance
Which company to Choose Werner, May Trucking Company, Freymiller

If all three companies were hiring and training you NOW which one would you prefer? Which one has a terminal nearest your home?

May......if you can't figure it out in 10 days, you need to try something else

What happened with Swift?
They have A LOT MORE freight than any of the others you've mentioned here...
-- LToomanybikes and Trucker61016 Thank this. -
But May has refrigerated runs to and from Miami! That's a lot of miles!

Unless you have safe parking areas available for an assigned big rig at...or near....your residence -- better go with a fleet that has parking at a nearby terminal.
Think it through....
