Which direction closes this heater hose valve?

    Only two valves, correct. I think the rear valve is the one giving me issues. I think both valves are the same thread size so I’ll change both. Hose looks to be 5/8”.

    Front valve’s hose runs back to the sleeper. Rear valve’s hose, runs to the heater core. They’re just making the big loop. I’m assuming, the flow is from the rear valve to the heater core, then to the sleeper’s heater core, then back to the thermostat valve, at the front of the engine.

    You are correct on the flow. Basically a supply side and a return side.

    Though I've never seen one plumbed like that before. Sometimes a tee to the bunk on supply and return, but not routed through the front, to the back, and out the back to the return.

    They close from top and return to the set by Alt.

    When I turn mine off, only do the ones top so allows for expansion but not pressure on system.

    Do you guys know, if that’s 5/8” male threads and 5/8” female threads, for the hose barb? IMG_6967.jpeg

    Should be 1/2" pipe thread on both
