You can set it to a high HP if you know how to control your right foot. More hp on the same size engine does not = less mpg. Putting your right foot down when you have more HP does. Having more hp allows you to have the power when you need it, but you don't need to use it on the highway.

There are way more FL Cascadia's with DD15 on the road then T800 with cummings.

Jeez and my Grandpa said there were a lot of people that didn't like Detroit... not finding them around here.

@swann The thing that makes me sketchy on the WS is the weight. Them trucks are heavy, and Im worried I might not be able to get max payload on it. I actually know a guy who bought a 220k WS and had to declare bankrupt because he couldn't drive his truck without a permit. Obviously he didn't know what he was doing but none the less someone at the dealership should have asked him what he was using it for(drill casing) and warned him. I know for sure its over 1000 lbs heavier than its Mack counterpart.

@Richter Not here, there are way more T800's than anything. Like I said the Kenworth dealership here sold as many units as all the other dealerships combined. They dont even have a freightliner here, you have to go through western star and they told me straight out they don't sell any, don't bother. Not even Coronado.

I'd love to hear your opinions on this matter. I've always drive KW/Cat for like 10 years and b4 that some other things but I dont remember anything about em. So really I dont know. I guess I havent been "around" enough. Im here to make money and I don't care what I drive as long as I'm making the decision that gives me security.

About the Volvo engine(Mack), yes you have to take it to a dealership to get it fixed. But unlike the other 13 litre engines, its proven reliable and capable of doing the job. Probably get 1-2 mpg out of it more than the 15 litres ones. The MX13 is kinda the same deal, but really new technology and not alot of people know if its good or not. The ones that do aren't telling I guess.

Anyone have any opinions on pulling trains with a 13L, apprently they used to pull trains with 435 HP and these 13 L got 500 HP.
