Oh man, your hurting my feelings. :biggrin_25519: What about all the FLD120s hauling big-### log loads around here? Chromed out they look long and tall and like they mean business. SO much so, in fact, that my 379 is now for sale, and an 04 FLD12064sd is parked at the house. 525 CAt, with a warrantied re-build, double frame from the back all the way to the front spring shackles, 14 fronts, 46 rears with full lockers. Just what the doctor ordered!

They call it SD - Severe Duty. here we use SD for low boy trailer moving exavators and tracktors

Availvable models Coronado SD and Argosy SD. Thick frame, hub reduction axles (European) and pusher axle

Hey do not go knocking the freightliners.
I also have an ol' 99 FLD120. Thick frame double lockers and a 4th axle. She has been a good ol trk. and I used to have 9 axle lowboy I pulled behind her.
You can order a SD model like the other poster stated. Just talk with a dealer who really does know how to spec out a trk.

Why do you need a condo?? dead space, My wife travels with me and we have a mid roof...

How long have you been doing H.H. or are you another newbie thinking they see dollar signs???
Not being rude with the last question, but too many newbies small and large coming in and slaughtering rates...

I saw a really sweet new SD Freightliner with a stand up sleeper at Hunt's Point pulling a rail reefer. I haven't seen another since then.

It was different looking than a Coronado. I've been looking when I drive by dealers, but have not yet seen another.

Just buy a Pete and double frame it. I am still a non Freightliner person, drove them over a million miles with flapping doors, snow coming in the top of the door. I worked for American Farm Lines at one time and they had several hundred. They had a lot of Cummins VT 903s which were rated at 400 HP and would run 80. Resale is better on a Pete.
