Which GPS is better, Rand McNally 710 or Garmin Dezl 560?

    I would like one message or the other. "Not allowed" is a lot different then "Not reccomended"

    One is illegal, the other I just have to be extra cautious.

    i have the 710 and it gets lost from time to time the navigator is a truck gps might try it

    You can be allowed on a road, but it would not be recommended like winding roads on mountains.

    It is giving you a warning that based upon your truck parameters set up in Truck tools that you are on a restricted road.

    A route can be illegal, but be allowed for local deliveries also. Local Signage applies here.

    It is up to the driver to make the final decision. The TND is simply letting you know of a restriction.

    I understand that. My point is, I wish it would not lump the two types of restrictions together.

    Garmin is way better, my trainer had the 710 it was horrible on east coast I have the garmin560 its a little smaller but it is spot on99 percent of time even matches company routing and has live traffic!
