G13TomCat: I just happen to be looking down as setting the hood on the cables.
The top of my head took the slapping. Didn’t help me get smarter though...
I have not had any teeth injuries but know of a few friends that have and I’m told it’s painful. One is a mechanic and slipped with a wrench, smacked a tooth, causing fracture. He said that really hurt. Closed his shop, went to the dentist right away, froze the tooth and capped it.
Which is a tougher job: OTR driver or heavy-equipment operator?

I doubt that the seatbelt could have saved him. A few hundred feet of rolling down a 70% slope would be hard to survive. Even with a seatbelt you would be smashing into the cage. I rolled a skidder once and got a concussion plus bruises that lasted for weeks.FerrissWheel, Shawn2130 and G13Tomcat Thank this.
