Which is better, Swift or P.A.M.?

    Which one of these would be a better starter company? I'm set to go to swifts orientation but just filled out an app for P.A.M. and if they call me to come to their orientation, which one would be a better choice?

    Pam.. i dont know pam but from what i hear about swift anythings better than them.

    check out Werner. there hiring like crazy right now and this far for me it hasn't been bad.

    Werner dallas has no trucks.. Seriously when you get through training they have you go get new trucks from peterbuilt Denton for $40.Some people do this for weeks before you get a truck.(They have to wait for an old crappy truck to come in.)You do this without a logbook and not on elogs, illegally. Complain about it and you will be the 2nd to complain. lol

    Im going with Swift Lancaster on tuesday to get my wife through there training program.

    Also try yo live off of .26 cents per mile and your lucky if you do 1,500 miles a week.:biggrin_25513:

    If McDonalds would be better, then why are you a "wannabe" trucker and even on this forum? If you can't give an answer without being an ### about it, I'd rather not have one

    Most folks do better at Swift than at PenneyAMile..........

    Swift has a much better freight base, which keeps you moving......

    However, Swift is just a bit short on trucks at the moment,

    and you may have to wait for one to become available.
