So, if I get any choice at all, which model of truck that Prime runs is the best? Please tell me what is good about it when you name one. Thanks!

Sorry kiddo... you get what they have available on the day you show up for your truck assignment. Creature comfort-wise, I'd say the ProStars get a thumbs up according to most reports from the company-side here.

Thanks - just wondering. Some of the guys were comparing trucks parked out here on the lot saying this one is best for this and that one is best for that, and you hope you get a such 'n' such. Of course there is always the chance there will be two available that day LOL

Prostars ain't bad, I'd prefer the Cascadia for it's interior size and it's fridge birth. Prostar kind of looks like a truck, the Cascadia looks like a helmet on wheels. Neither rides great, both work okay, both have dealerships everywhere and parts are easy to get at.

I had a choice of prostar or cascadia when I upgraded. I went cascadia only because it' what I trained in and was familiar with the control placement and feel of the truck. That said the prostar I got in was really nice a little better set up in the lightweight configuration.

Lightweights these days are Prostars and Cascadias... went with International a couple of years ago. Lease-ops get a choice of Cascadias, 587's and T800's. I'm not really impressed with the Peterbilts... IMO they're just rolling junk these days. T800's are very expensive.

The best truck is the one that is mechanically sound, does NOT breakdown, and passes all the inspections.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Thanks to everyone! Yes, I have seen Prostars out here along with the Peterbuilts, Cascadias, and another one - slipping from my poor brain loaded with pre-trip inspection memorization - that one of the instructors said rattled and rides rough. It sounds like either the Cascaidas or Prostars would pretty much equal out. VERY glad to hear about the lots of locations for parts and repairs.
