Just joined the site, been reading it though for some good tips.
Got my CDL in December.
Been talking with 3 companies and wanted advice on which is best.
USXpress, Schneider and Trans AM.
So far the only one that has offered a job is TA, but they want to do a 40 hour refreshed first!?!?
Still filling the paperwork out for the other 2 but have spoken to recruiters from both and started the ball rolling.
Any thoughts on which of these companies is best for a new driver? TA is a tad far from me but need to start somewhere.
Which of these 3 is best (Recent Grad)?

I got my class A in October, and just started at Schneider. Going to do OTR (12 on/2 off). They were give me an extremely competitive pay rate and, you can read here in the forums, will keep the miles coming to you. They have an orientation that'll last about 3 weeks before you're out on your own, but it's pretty useful stuff (they're real big on safety, too).
I can already see that joining the pumpkin patch was definitely a good idea, and I am glad with my choice. Good company, with good people who (so far at least) truly seem to care. -
Im gonna need some more time behind a 10 speed though, my trucking school did me a disservice by having an old auto Peterbilt. Had very little time behind the manual. -
After your phone interview, they'll do a typical background check and whatnot, and if all is good a drug test, then schedule you for orientation.
Usually, if you want the ball to get rolling real quick, you can be in orientation in 2 weeks or less from your phone interview (at least that was the case for me).
I'm not a veteran or anything, but I am familiar with the recruiting process and orientation and whatnot, so if you have any questions or anything PM me -
