I have to agree that I have heard a lot of good information about Roehl and Maverick, but I still have to find out if financial aid will pay for my training because I want be able to throw $5000 cash down. I should be able to though because the university I attended was wanting me to continue my education for my masters. So, obviously I haven't maxed out on FASFA. Then again the university most likely wants me to just dig my self deeper in debt. Other than that, I have seen Prime come up more than any company especially for rookies that have to go with a company that has school for CSL's. I have applied to all the schools I mentioned

CRST forces you to team. You will be matched with someone if you don't have a co-driver. Teaming can be very hard on new drivers. This, and the hinky way they go about issuing your CDL (you switch your license to an Iowa license, then switch back to home state) cause me to always warn people to stay away.

    Hello China,

I have been extremely interested in Prime and as I have researched and followed forums have always seen them pop up the most for people like me. It looks like I will have to contact them though because they have not replied to my application. I think they do have their on school for training though and they pay you the whole time from start to finish and in your own truck. The companies that are interested in me and contacting me are Stephenson Trans, Central Refrigerated, FFE, US Xpress, and Drivers Solutions. I have read so much negative information about Stephenson, but at the same time hear they have the best trucks. That is one of the factors I am looking at because I don't want to work for anyone and end up in junk broking down on side of the road. My dad and a student at Stephenson that I talk to said that the only reasons people dog them is because they are very professional and strict which I understand. Who would want to work for a company that doesn't care about reputation, professionalism, and just let you run wild with no discipline. I am still waiting to see if FASFA is going to pay for my schooling. I don't see why they wouldn't because they just contacted me before I graduated and wanted me to reapply for 2013-2014 to continue my education towards my Masters. If you was in my situation or had to start over again which company would you focus on obviously out of the ones you already mentioned?

I think I'm going to stay away from both of these schools. Swift seems to have drama and nothing against either one but just don't think they are for me. They would be last resorts, but I have Stevens Transport, Central Refrigerated, US Xpress, and FFE recruiting currently. I would defiantly chose one of those over Swift or CRST.

    Hello Wandering,

I have also followed many of your post. Your a character and don't seem to mind to tell the truth and your opinions. Your coo!. Yes, I agree China is awesome and gives great advice. I have been following his post for a long time. His advice always sounds truthful and never changes. If you was in my situation, what company would you focus on?

Just found out that knight has a program that costs $2,500, compare that to $4,500 for swift and the other mega carrier crooks.
the official program is called the squire program, or the squire school....etc you will have to contact knight
