Which of these two new trucks would you choose

Hypothetically, if you were going to buy a new truck tomorrow, it would be pulling tri axle trailers exclusively, end dump, fuel tanker, and low bed to move equipment. Some hwy, secondary roads, logging roads, and construction sites.
The two choices are new 2019 Kenworth T880, or new 2019 Volvo VNX 300, they would be tri-drive, day cabs.
So simply which one would you choose, I am curious as to others thoughts, had a long chat about the topic yesterday with about 30 truck drivers, and some were truck owners.

 

Dealership situation would matter also ......both dealers anywhere near decent I’d do the kw.


And the KW would have to have a X15 in it.

 

What colour are they?
If one of them is orange, I'll take that one.

If they're both the same colour, I'll pick the KW.

 

Lets say for the sake of this hypothetical question, they are both blue.

 

Lets say that the dealers are the same distance away, and both are equally good.

So just based on the truck alone.

I'd pick the kw I always heard that Volvo are only good for light weight stuff

Just pointing out that I am asking about the trucks alone, not other factors.

 

Many loggers use the 880 out east and like them .. I have only driven one Volvo and it was too floppy but id guess the vnx300 would be a tad stiffer than a standard Volvo

 

I'm going with 880 for the Cummins grunt.
