Liquid bulk has crap rates out west. Last time dispatch sent me out to Wyoming they made me deadhead ALL THE WAY to Chicago.
Which one would you choose…

Liquid tanker is one of the best kept secrets in trucking. The customers alone are worth moving to tanker. I wouldn't do reefer for twice the CPM because the waiting and the treatment by customers is more than I can tolerate.Lav-25 and Northern Nomad Thank this.

Well if you love cold winters and being in a state with less population you've chosen well, however it'll also mean less chances that a major carrier will be based there. However when I worked at LW"s in Utah we had one driver based in southern CA and another based in Carthage MO, it was not an issue except when they wanted home time particularly in MO as we did not run a lot of freight east, it was mainly south to Los Angeles, or west to Sacramento, we were a smaller carrier of course which may make a difference, not much comes out of NV mostly trucks just driving through, The same with Wyoming, my choice also would also be South Dakota.Northern Nomad Thanks this.
