I read in Land Line that the skirts give better mileage that the undertray. That's all I know.

I don't have a dog in this race, in fact, CA can keep all their dogs, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I had thought the UT6 by itself would be enough to meet CARB compliance, without the requirement of skirts. Am I wrong or missing something?

I notice a real difference with trailer skirts over the ut6. From what Ive heard the makers of ut6 are being sued for exaggerating fuel savings. Real tests only showed 2.6% over the 8% they claimed. The skirts have kept my mileage from bottoming out with a strong head wind. Still lose mileage, but seems to do better.

Well its still fuel savings, just not what they claim. Plus they are legal for Cali, so not a bad decision.

Kinda wondered why you were asking after the fact anyway.
