I am trying to decide which school would be a good choice for me to get started in the trucking industry. I have been considering FFE, and Prime. I have read some good things about both places (and took into consideration the bad that comes with said posts) an was wondering if anyone could give me some input on these places? Also, would I be better off going to a college (UAFS most likely, I live in Fort Smith, AR. Or any better recommendations?) and trying to find a job after college? Or is that harder to get on somewhere that way? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

In my experience, it was easier to go the college route, much much less expensive, and I had 14 pre-hires before I was even out of school.....

plus, you won't be a company-bound slave for whatever period it takes to pay off their school.

pay up front, go the college route and pay less, and make your own choices about where you go.

you'll be gald you did. i sure am.

Check out Crowder College, Neosho MO. You can get a pre-hire from Con-way and get your career off to a good start. go to the Conway DAC reports there's plenty of info on those threads.
