my '10 prostar (daycab) had been riding so rough lately over any bump it just hits it no absorbing of any kind.. plus at around 55-60mph passenger side front side has a slight vibrate and hopping of sort.. I'm not sure if I need new cab mounts and or cab shocks or front shocks in general I don't know when they were replaced last. the bag with the 2 shocks in the back of the cab is very squeaky and loose that I can shake the cab up and down with my hand and around curves and turns feels like cabs going to flip over. any ideas what I should look for before throwing money at it.
Which shocks to replace?

If you have a 2010, it's overdue to replace all the shocks and check the cab mounts or bushings.
I believe the Cab Spring Bags with the Shocks inside of them from the Stealership are very pricey. -
I have the setup with the bag in the middle and shocks on both side. I was told by numerous people to replace the cab springs but wasn't sure.. I will now look into buying new springs all around

Check to make sure the ride height valve for the cab is working. Measure the clearance between the stopper and the cross member. Should be 45mm or 1.8 inches. Also, if the truck has a sustained shake or bounce, I would blame an out of round or out of balance tire.
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
I will check 1st thing in the AM if the height is off how do I go about adjusting? Thank you.. I was told by my alignment shop the wheel might be out of round causing the bounce/hop but a few tire shops looked at it and said it's a solid good tire but that doesn't mean it's not out of round correct?
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
I got that hop years ago- replaced shocks-new tires- Still Hopped between 40-50mph- It was so Bad it was uncomfortable holding the wheel- was a bad drive tire- felt it in the seat and the wheel

LOL, the alignment guy vs the tire guy!!! That battle never ends and customers get caught in the middle. Alignments cause tire wear, that's it. Alignment will never cause, and therefore, never correct a shimmy, shake, vibration or wobble. That is always always always something out of balance or out of round!!! Period! Tire guys blame alignment to get rid of the customer with a problem! Tire guys do not like or want to perform warranty and find something else other than bad tires or poor installation. "good solid tire" means absolutely nothing! You are right, you have to spin up the wheel assembly to see what is going on. You can also replace tires with new all day, but if they are not installed properly or not installed truly or square on to a rim, it will shake every time. This is poor installation! Also, not ever wheel sits centered enough on a hub and causes the whole wheel to spin out of round. This is why the hop is still there after changing tires. Again, you need to SPIN the wheel assembly and see what is going on.
As for the height adjustment, there is a plastic rod with threaded ends. They are quick snap connected on ball joints. You just pop out one end, spin it in or out and reconnect it. -
Looks higher then 1.75?
