They gave 1 point a gallon 20 years ago. Time for a raise.

The above post about covers it. The only thing I didn't like about TA is they would cash out your points with a coupon in $5 increments at a Kiosk. It might be more? I've only used them a handful of times over the years. If you bought something for $4.25 they would cabbage up on the change. At least Pilot is penny for penny usage.

But yes if you ever go to a TA shop when you check in make sure they have your rewards card. A set of tires might get you a steak gristle dinner. Just chew around it! :)

PFJ and TAPetro points don't expire, Loves did unless you purchased enough every month, until NOV and December, to get to the level above platinum.
Loves has recently changed it so as you fuel more per month, they ratchet up the amount per gallon, with I think 4 cents being the maximum.PFJ may have a bonus if a target is reached.

I think they all 3 have points for whatever shop work they may do, but there aren't many shops I have seen in the PFJ network. TAPetro has shops at most locations now, the last few I knew of that didn't, now do.

I have all 3 and then some, but I use PFJ the most because the runs allow fueling at more different locations.

Pilot has some Road Ranger locations, the showers aren't automated and the coffee doesn't count towards coffee credits, but they are usually quicker to get fuel at.

I don't know about discounts, we are no longer told where to buy fuel except it should take the EFS card. TA before the merger used to have the best discounts for our company on fuel.

You shouldn't have to lay out any cash, there are line haul guys and locals that rack up the showers, you should just ask around if anyone has an extra shower credit they can spare, If you can get around super trucker bragging about his 1200 mile run in 8.5 hours on the CB that is a good way to find guys willing to help you out. I hope this helps.

Just stand next to the points kiosk with a shower bag and a regular fueler will give you a free shower if you ask nicely. I fuel at Flying hook/piliot and have tons of credit there and will gladly give them to anyone. Some drivers have tons of extra at ta/petro and will give on up for free.

Just got a message on the squawk box that said Pilot started a new promotion. 5pts per gal.

Yes I am assuming you mean to use the points. Certainly a Pilot TS is not the easiest to use for fueling! hehehhee

Sure, they have to build up their reputation after getting exposed ripping off drivers/companies.

On 80/94 in Indiana there is a Pilot billboard that reads something like, "Delivering America. Thank you Drivers!" With a picture of a clean cut driver.

TA/Petro should put up on the next sign, "Deliberately not giving the discounts you promised? Is that how Pilot thanks Drivers?"

And there are some here who say competition does not exist and does not serve to ultimately benefit the consumer. Imagine how the truck stop situation would be if Pilot and Loves did not decide to take huge risks back in the 90's and engage in fierce head to head race for the prime real estate locations.

you can pay for your cat scale at pilot with points

no can do, at the tA

however, loves, pilot are the worst in fueling and makes you stand around for showers

ta, the hook, petro, all have driver lounges, which makes them worth going to when it is extremely hot or cold

    anyone for law & order?

as far as fuel discounts, local indendents Ma and Pa are usually cheaper than the ta, pilot, flying j and petro

sometimes a clear 30 to 40 cents difference
