N-14 is a very good motor. Know Cummins had some bad heads circulating around in the mid 90's not that your looking at one. Just saying. Kenworth's frames break up front @ rear spring hanger. Just some things to look for. Think you'll have better luck with w-900. Don't care for the isx motor, especially at rebuild time. Lots of movin parts and expensive.
Which Truck Would you buy? T660 or old W900

What did you ever figure out about the trans leak? It wasn't the rear main was it?
And how do you like those headlights? Better than stock? I've been considering something along that line for mine, but still on the fence.OldRed98 Thanks this. -
Thanks ShooterK2!
The trans leak is one of my last remaining issues. It hasn't been bad and I've been checking my trans fluid every couple thousand miles (not really loosing much buts its dripping from somewhere). I really need to get on it. I asked KW to check it out last time I was in there but they didn't. Got sick of paying them to fix some of my electrical issues... Paid them a couple thousand for issues I ended up fixing in the end. Gets to where you don't trust shops to work on your truck.
I really like the headlights. They illuminate the road very well and look cool. Only issue is that I drive on rural roads a lot and always get people flashing me because they think my brights are on. They were a cheap upgrade.ShooterK2 and QuietStorm Thank this. -
Will insure it.
