Which Truckstop do you like the most?!

where is "none of the above??
I like the 2 or 3 mom and pop ones left in this world.GLAD I don`t have to stop anywhere I don`t want to.At least I still have that.

 

Agree! Sick of the major chain truck stops....same old,same old,...

I found a dive in Kentucky the other day not too far from Corbin on I-75,It was a dump but the food was good,free showers and coffee even if you didn't fuel.

 

I never liked any of them. They are are just an oasis for tired drivers seeking refuge from the road.

 

I love Love's...Never had an issue with one and my card is platinum there!...

 

Little place on the south side of I-10 in Road Forks, NM. Don't know if it's still there but they used to have "real" food and good parking. Not a big place but friendly - am hoping it is still there when I get back out on the road (still have my t-shirt). Never was much for the big chains except maybe the Giant.

 

Jimmy's in Florida off I 10, Can't remember the town it is near havent been there in two years. Any Mom and Pop is better than the chain's, but of those I choose Petro.

Used to be one called Truckers World, near Sheperdsville KY, that I enjoyed.

 

Is that the one that advertises on the CB about their nanner nanner nanner pudding? I once stopped in just for that, and it wasn't bad. They give you a lot of it, too!

The free shower was nice, too. They just ask you leave a tip for the shower.

 

Yup, I used to stop there if it is the one I am thinking of, and the truck stop in London, good food, decent prices, free showers, no bs, I got to know some of the girls really well and still miss seeing them now that I don't go down there any more.

As for the choices, I vote none of the above, I prefer the small truck stops and restaurants, I got to know many all over the place and would always make an effort to support those places when I could, I never spent 10 hrs in a truck stop anyway, All I ever did was sleep, eat and maybe grab a shower. It's nice to go somewhere different instead of the usual fast food garbage.
