But you still have to have proof of residency there right? Like a lease agreement and utility bill of some kind?

I arrived at the Canadian border unvaxxed AND untested !! They allowed me to cross with a verbal warning otherwise it's a $6,250 fine. I agreed to the 14 day quarantine which I am currently under ( day 5). The friggin Gov't of Canada called me yesterday to check that I am locked down. I got surly and she threatened to call police because I was sarcastic. Ironic because she is the one that rudely hung up on me without completing the questionnaire. So it's not been a great weekend here either. It's absurd this is still going on in Canada. Everywhere else has moved on.

 

And people wonder why this country is such a complete joke.

Glad you’re getting out dude, mark my words, they will announce a new “variant” come September and this entire country will be locked down and completely crushed by October. My truck is gone, working like a madman to sell off everything I can (while people have cash), shelf my company, and get the accounts closed asap. The Lib/NDP coalition is gonna be bad, and I’m pretty sure the CRA is gearing up to finish off all small businesses once the lockdowns start.

Were you coming into Canada from the US at a land border and if so how did you enter the US unvaccinated or did you enter the US before all this BS started.

I'm a dual citizen of US / Canada. I crossed the land border at 1000 Islands, Ontario both times. No vax required for citizens of each country. I took a chance and it worked out but the douchebag health Canada officer at the border said next time I will be fined. I told him no problem I don't plan on returning next time I leave. By the way, how's this for absurdity, my daughter is attending a vax free Justin Beiber concert here in our Nations capital tonight, yet I am locked down for another 9 days despite being an trucker that has crossed the border unvaxxed for the last 2 years but somehow I am a high risk NOW. Its a clown show. It's never been about the safety its all politics and control. I am being punished for being unvaxxed.
