Is there a whip antenna that hooks up to the bumper of a car?

    Yes sir,
The "original" 102" stainless steel whip! This is the one that started it all & is what all other antennas are trying to replicate . ALL those coils, Loads, stingers etc. are trying to make the 102" whip shorter. That way it can be used on the mirrors of big trucks & cars. To properly install a whip you would normally use it w/ a 6" pot belly spring assembly . All stainless is best . And they do make a chain type bumper mount. It lokks just like what you see on the squad car on the Andy Griffith show re-runs . GOOD LUCK !
