The only time I don't feel safe is when there is a Swift truck with in sight .. other than that I feel safe
But I don't hang around truck stops either .. if I stop for fuel its not at a large truck stop .. those place s are bad news and full of tardsTrucker61016, Lumper Humper and TheLoadOut Thank this. -
I feel totally safe too. Majority of the time I sleep at customers. I am a mild mannered guy, so the likelihood of me getting into a situation with other people isn't high. As for road rage motorists, I can't say I've dealt with that either. Real talk if you don't start no ish, won't be no ish.
Lumper Humper, slow.rider and TheLoadOut Thank this. -

I think the worst act of violence against a trucker I've heard of happened at the Fort Hall casino parking lot in Idaho, nowhere near a big city. Driver woke up to a big injun beating his head in with a rock. I think he ended up having seizures and is partially blind and now disqualified from driving. So, it can happen anywhere.
Lumper Humper, wore out, TheLoadOut and 2 others Thank this.
