No...he is not with sun. But...you can bet they would do the same thing if the workforce was available. It's business...never, ever think that ANY company is going to pay out extra wages for longer than absolutely necassary.

And I think you're right about the companies trying to figure out how to cut OT. Matter of fact, there was some guy on here a few weeks ago that posted that he wanted to run three trucks 24/7, three men to a truck, and one week on/one week off. He got booed the site real quick.
56 hours every two weeks he was going to give his drivers, just to clarify. -
Just got hired on at a company hauling crude.
This is a company I applied for back in Feb.
Came over to here to their office.
Sitting here right now.
Regional head cheese and terminal manager interviewed me on the spot.
Bout to sign an offer letter.
Already scheduled for physical and screening.
Hourly pay, slip seat.
Time to build up the work experience.
In a year or two, if optimal, I will go with the Owner opperator.
I will be getting same pay as fueling but only 70 hours a week.
I will be getting back in the gym on a body building routine.
When the wifey is here, I will be available for her.
Got nights which I want anyhow.
I will have to relocate my camper I bought.
Moving it about 30 minutes from here.
I will schedule my transition for the end of the month.
Trying to maximize my rent already paid, and get those hours while I can plus still put in 2 weeks notice.
Adiós frac fueling.
Oh and yeah...
I feel very great cause I demolished a weekly hours worked record.
Last week I broke 130 hours and I get extra 8 hours straight pay for working on the 4th. -

Keep it on the Down Low.
A few of you work there.
Let me be the one to break it to em' -

Good luck Chris. Pizza delivery is a heck of a gig...its still paying dividends! Lol

Speaking of pizza delivery...
Just before you posted that I got off the phone with the local pizza joint in the town where my new yard is
I will likely be working the dinner rush before my night shift as a part time gig to cover my monthly expenses.
I will possibly do the same on days off too.
Saving up for a nice used tractor will be a major priority.
If I go owner operator then I want to be ready when I hit my one year mark.
Tax write off for mileage on my car will also help off set taxes due at the end of next year.Arky Thanks this. -
I'm impressed with tax write off for mileage as a pizza delivery guy.
ChrisDHeye Thanks this. -
