2.5% on $5000 is $125 for 10 trucks is $1250. Sounds good for both sides. I'm set up with most brokers doing what I do already. If not signed up .5% more to do paperwork. I don't need or want factoring and can send electronic payment at end of week for payment on what freight they get me.

I would give it a try I think.

edit I can do my own billing.

It did seem like a good deal. I was just a little nervous because of a post a driver wrote about them. But he could've just been a disgruntled guy who didn't like how he was ran. It seemed like ######## to me. The owner of Merge Transit reposted and rectified it.

I signed up for one a couple months ago just to see if they could find me better backhauls than I was finding myself. If you go this route, read their agreement carefully. I only signed up with this one because they had a 7 day trial period where if I didn't like it, I wasn't committed for 3 months. So 3 days into the contract, the only loads they were finding me were the same ones I could see on the DAT load board, and the rates from the dispatching service were cheaper because they were apparently taking a cut of the broker rate. Needless to say, I cancelled their services immediately.

This company was called Load Hunter out of Florida. I would advise against using their services.

1 person booking for 10 trucks would be spread very thin booking off the spot market especially in these conditions. Then you also have to have an accounting department. You would lose money at that rate.
