We plan on hauling airplanes, classic cars. Just need the minimum (legal) sized sleeper and small "jump seats. Nothing fancy or big.
Keep the feedback coming, Rick!
Thanks! -
You really don't need a "legal sized " sleeper anymore since you can now log off duty in a nonmoving CMV. Just be sure to never log sleeper .
If you plan on running team you will need a legal sleeper but the rear seat of a Flreightliner FL70 or M2 can meet the size required for a legal sleeper .

What type of trailer brakes are you planning on running? I know a guy who converted a straight truck to a tractor and it works fine because his trailer has electric brakes but he can not move a storage trailer so he sits some times. Just a thought

Well, I contacted Pacific Truck Center and they said a M2 112 4-door crew cab could be fitted with a sleeper, but I' have to let them know the size (length) of the sleeper and they'll make the wheelbase long enough and make sure there's trailer clearance. Woo! Hoo! It CAN be done!!
So, where's the best place to get a sleeper installed? Who makes the best and AFFORDABLE sleepers? -
This is my sterling acterra with a sleeper

I see a gen 1 cummins around here with a western star sleeper. Thing looks rediculious. You could probably use a ambulance front and add a sleeper on the back.
