That'd be the first person I'd call if I were the OP

I sent another app on the Q-com. If I don't get a reply by the end of next week, I'll call Norma. I've delt with her before and she got things happening fast.

You're becoming a trainer too? Congrats! I guess I'll see you next week in Tontitown.

My last student was trying to get me fired. Dummy didn't know the first thing about the industry. He was a bit shellshocked when he found out I've done nothing wrong. Be careful out there, this happens often.

Best advice, do your job first and foremost. Make sure that load gets from point A to point B. Communicate anything that adversely affects the training process with your Fleet Manager. That's to cover your ###. Then remember, it's your word against theirs, so have everything documented that would help you out. I write down anything my student tells me, similar to what most cops do when at a traffic stop. I also timestamp it with the camera on my phone.

As far as what happened with my student, he thought this job was beneath him and that I was a push over. He wanted to make me out to be a tyrant on my truck. Sadly for him, I've trained 20+ guys and he somehow forgot that. He looked like a fool when I went to the safety department and gave them my side of the story. What it all boils down to, he didn't like the idea that a younger guy was training him. He was only 13 years my senior.
