Who do you like for starter companies around Houston?

Call comments emotional? Your skin thick enough for this profession? Whether you realize it or not, there are plenty of "training" companies that put a person under contract regardless of license or not, just fyi. Alot of time & money goes into training.

I have to admit that I'm baffled as to how you came to that conclusion but you feel how you feel. I don't think the OP meant any disrespect though. It felt like he answered you straight up. Anyway, hopefully we help him enough to make a good choice.

 

You sound like one of those folks that when someone points out some dumb or dangerous #### they did, will respond with "I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR <insert irrelevant number here> YEARS, YOU CAIN'T TELL ME NUTTIN TIL YOU BEEN OUT HERE AT LEAST AS LONG AS ME..."

Don't worry about it Mr. i just got to throw my 2 cents in.

 

Way too many disrespectful clowns on here, most can take advice. Some like being smart ellics. Some are just plain, well......

 

Hmmmm.....well it's the holidays man. Let's be grateful that TTR gives drivers a platform to be clownish and helpful all in one spot.

 

There are several local or regional carriers hiring in Houston. There is no reason to go with an OTR company unless you just like B/S and being gone alot.

Western International Gas
Airgas
Labatt Food Service
Garbage companies
Cement mixer companies
Coca cola and several beverage companies
And etc etc.

Don't waste your time with a B/S carrier. Because you can't get your time back!
