I use cingular. When I was OTR I had an external antenna mounted on the truck, made all the difference in the world for me. Before the antenna, I had sections of Arizona that I would always lose service (on Intersate 10), after getting the antenna, there was nowhere that I didn't have good service. This was 3-4 years ago, still using Cingular service though.

if you got a brandsmart around you or can get to one they sell phones flat out and you don't have to sign a new contract. all you do is put your sim card in it and talk. i picked up a razr for my mom for 100$ and shipped it to fla to her.......... -
i had a company phone a few years back with t-mobile and it seemed everytime i crossed state lines it would drop for about 5-10 miles. got really aggrevating and i was glad i had my cingular with me. -
I have us celular and I get coverage everywhere. If I do lose sgnal it's just for a few miles usually but very rare. Free nghts and weekends and incoming calls.
I'm switching to Sprint this wek though since I need it for internet access so I hope there service is good. If not I still have my us cellular company phone. -

I have had cingular for about three years and have had good service otta them. I know about twenty driver's that have cingular and there's times when we'll have eight to ten driver's all linked together, We call it our cingular club. That heck with all that noice on the cB radio.the only time the CB gets turned on is when its pouring down rain or there's snow covering the big road.if you got cingular and want to shoot the bull sometime send me a pm and I'll give you a shout next week, When I'm back on the slab..

I bought a sprint two days ago. I returned it first thing the next morning. It didn't work anywhere and there data doesn't work off of there network (which is very tiny) and I mainly bought it for data. They flat out lied to me and told me they have a sharing agreement with US cellular. I specifilly asked this because I have a us cell tower in my back yard. Well I stood underneath it and got no signal, even when I forced it to roam. I have since found out they DON'T have us cell agreements. It was cheap but that doesn't help if it doesn't work. Oh plus they told me they had the software download for Vista to run the phone as modem and they do not have it and don't know when they will get it according to there tech dpt.
I went and got Verizon wth an aircard. I seem to really like it so far. They DO us the us cell towers and there data modem works on there network or the us cell extended network. only it's not broadband on the extended. It's still faster than the dialup I have at the house though (ya, I'm that far in the bonnies) Headed to Oregon this week so I'l put it to the test then. -
I have had great service from cingular except for in Kentucky with all the hills.
