    This verizon is doing better than I thought it would. I'm sitting in the midde of nowhere south dakota right now talking on the phone and surfing the web so I can't complain so far.

    Well,

    I have Alltel. It's not the best, but it does work well everywhere I've travelled without roaming. Of course, I'm on the Total Freedom plan where there is no roaming anywhere.
