Who is Hiring right now?

i called jb hunt talked 15 mins she was digging when i told i got terminated no question asked she said sorry cant help and hung up.i was speechless.

 

Well these companies aren't going to be able to get away with treating drivers like crap for long when other industries start hiring again as many that came to truckin' for income only will leave in droves and the companies will have to snap back to reality.

After thinking about this whole economy I've come to the conclusion this was all a big puff of smoke blown up our arses by the big boys to knock down prices so they can ride em back up again.

Buy low, sell high!

 

Just punch it into the computer, shore there is a bunch of them out there

 

I wish you were right, they have been getting away with it ever since I've been on the road. It be great if a couple of them closed their doors, I'd feel sorry for those who had to change jobs but maybe the rates would go up. And I think your right about wall street. If you had a bunch of money to invest now is the time to buy. GE at less then a dollar a share!!! It can't stay there for long

I saw an add for drivers for con-way, from their web site it looks like they are looking for drivers in many areas of the east. they need drivers for their LTL that have doubles/triples and haz mat, home daily... this is all according to the web site but of course it could be just B.S. but they are advertising in my local paper here lately....

 

They"re always advertising. They laid people off called economic layoff and havent called my friend back yet. If you have doubles it cant hurt to apply. you need doubles or dont bother

 

my dad says that b&g trucking out of coloma is hiring..... but i wouldn't recommend it...... ur best bet might just be to get a local trucking company.....

Have you checked into a local cdl school in your area? My husband paid 2250.00 for school which lasted a month .

Seems like when you get your cdl from trucking companies you pay double or more but I know alot of people do not have a choice and at least you would be an employee while getting your cdl license.

You also get to claim your cost of school on your next tax return.
