Oh boy, a lot of those loads are fishing loads, many of the are not even owned by the broker who posted them.

When I I'm bored I call low rate loads and make $10 a mile offers just for their reaction.

Oh, you want to pay 50c a mile out of jersey to Maine? How's $8000 sound?

My only goal in this is to be able to afford to take those double brokered loads from Anwar every once in awhile just to mess with them. Spend the entire time getting loaded calling them that the pick up number is wrong. I thought you said Florida not Washington hell I’m already halfway there I guess I can turn around. Hey I finally got here and they said it was Florida all along! Don’t worry they’re paying me to take it back by ship I got a cruise coupon.

Here’s another little unscrupulous auto broker trick.
People get on line and put all there information on a site seeking a quote for an auto transport.
The company online then compiles a list with all there information and then they sell the list to multiple brokers.
The brokers then take the sales Leeds and post them up on the load board with a number on them they pull out of their ### and pretend they are legitimate secured loads.
When the carrier calls on the load you get the famous
“I have to check with the customer “ bs dance.
They then call the customer and tell them they have a truck waiting to pick up their car and try to sell them the transport.
Most of the time the car was already shipped days ago or the customer was just trying to get a quote to move a car they were looking at buying so the load really never existed in the first place.
At that point the carrier just sits there waiting for a phone call that will never come and it was just a big waste of valuable time for the carrier.
You can usually spot these loads on the load board because they are usually listed with multiple brokers with a few minor wording changes.
