I have recently seen the light and the error of my ways. I am currently at the old folks home playing bingo and purposely losing to make them feel good. I have said please and thank you so many times. It feels great. R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

I also shaved off my beard in hopes I fit the little boy image better.

I also called the local morgue and inquired about a spine. Waiting on a call back.

And the intelligence thing, not sure what to do about that. Maybe an esteemed elder on the forums can help me with this…….please and thank you of course.

    How am I doing?

Pretty good, actually. You're keeping your cool, not resorting to insults, and using humor to get your points across. Fine job.

Back to the subject, there are many people that have a CDL but want to fly a little under the radar. They will work for lower wages willingly. Have seen it at local scrap yards for years.

Nah not with covid causing places to pay mcmanagers 16$/hr in my dirt poor town.
I almost quit driving to work there but the micro managing stuff I can’t deal with. Tho for 21$/hr I’d take it.

Rideandrepair, Cattleman84 and bzinger Thank this.

Out fishing my bud tells me he’s stealing one of our shunt drivers and a customer for their linehaul run.. When he describes the driver I point out the driver been road tested twice over the past 4 months and is too incompetent to leave the yard with a trailer,,,hence shunting. My bud is a bit exasperated to say the least.
Our minimum for drivers is $22 per hour…

Is shunt a cuss word? It should be. Sounds filthy.

I will however RESPECT that it is not……and also because an older person used it. I have recently been freed from my boyish demons.

What part of the country are you located, if you dont mind me asking?... I'm going to guess east of the big river OR very near a major metropolitan area.

No trucking company that I know of within 100, or even 150 miles of me would dream of paying that much for a driver... Unless the driver also is required to do alot more than just drive, like load, unload, stock shelves, inventory, operate construction equipment, ECT.
