You just need to jump in somewhere and figure it out as you go. You may get lucky and stay with the first co or quit or get fired your 3rd week out. Or, quit trucking altogether in month 2 ! But be advised....trucking is trucking, no matter what name is on the truck door !

Your best shot at succeeding in trucking is specific information on particular companies from individual drivers. You volunteer to get what they get. Otherwise you volunteer for what's behind door number 3, before you even know you are making an important decision.

What would you say if someone asked "who's the best woman to marry?" or "what kind of food should I eat?" If you don't fit with a trucking company you will be miserable, over/underworked, broke, asked to do dangerous things, etc. You are not average and trucking companies are not average. You need to get specifics on trucking companies and then pick among the ones you know about.

This decision will likely decide if you stay in the industry or quickly leave. IMO

Yeah I understand that. I was looking at Stevens for a bit people telling me they lay pretty good but being on the outside looking in other then reading comments of how bad certain companies are I guess the safe bet would get in to find out. I'm already in a job that I know I could do better trying to get insight see what's out there worst case wait out a year and find greener pastors

CR England and Stevens are the 2 lowest paying Starter Companies and Lease Hustle. I would lean you towards Prime for just starting out. The dirty secret is Starter Companies that are straight Reefer have you sitting a lot while uncompensated.
