    I have a friend and so does my mom, both are trying to get started in truck driving. My friend has a really good savings but wants to start with a company that will basically keep him moving and has decided he wanted to go with a mega carrier. I am not that great and have only read the "bad companies" section of forum because it entertains me. Just wanted to advise him from those who would know about which carriers to look at.

    He's located in Ohio but isn't set on being tied down here and he wanted the trucking company cdl school if at all possible.

    Wilson Logistics is good and hires in 48 states.
    He can relocate to any state at any time and won't have to change companies if he goes with Wilson.
    Probably send him to Springfield, Missouri for their cdl school there. The other school is in Missoula, Montana.

    I agree w/ @Chinatown , ma'am. If I were to be starting now myself; I'd go with Wilson if they'd have me. And I'm in Ohio, as well~! :)

    Here's a milk tanker company with cdl school in Missouri. I've seen their ads for drivers as far west as Arizona.
    Their nearest school is in Cabool, Missouri. Meals, lodging, transportation provided. I think they even pay hourly pay while in cdl school; not positive on that though. He can ask.
