Who is the best tech to ship radio out too??

I have never had an issue with Chris. The last time I was in there was a few months ago, a capacitor in the RFX75 had burned out. He replaced it an upgrade version and I had told him to go thru the radio while he had it open and told him I just wanted it tuned to stock. He told me he had always had tuned that way. I guess I must be one of the few he's done well along with everyone I have sent his way. I have not one time had ever heard any negative about his work. @rabbiporkchop the radios you probably heard from Chris must have had a bad antenna or something that made it sound like a hack job.....just saying. @bored silly, has never had an issue with Chris's work either.

 

I got his panties bunched up again but I already know I'm a better man than him....magnum repair center works in a regular cb shop you can find him mon-Fri in the same place. Has Kelly -Rick and techs all over the u.s. send him work I know that for a fact.good video means nothing doesn't change anything.... designed amp boards rx75/rx85 175/350 amp board amp bottom his design many sold thru out the years.

 

Keep in mind I spent an awful lot of time in Southern California and I'm also from Southern California and when I was hauling produce Coast to Coast I spent lots of time sitting around listening to other people on the radio while I was waiting to get loaded at various coolers throughout the state and I made a mental note every time I asked someone who their technician was that worked on their obviously modified radio.
Running up and down Interstate 5 through Santa Nella and down the Grapevine and past Castaic scales
And running East out of Bakersfield through Tehachapi over to Barstow 80% of the drivers on the radio that were local had their radio's worked on by Chris Holland so I got quite familiar with his work. Most of those guys are perfectly happy talking 5 miles as long as they can lock down the parking lot when they are parked at a truck stop. Notice in the video Chris isn't getting blamed for the hack job but he's only getting blamed for failing to clean up the customer radio and clean up the mess that someone else made but still charging the customer money

 

Bob design the Top Gun modulator which is a fancy name for a swing kit which turns a perfectly good AM radio into a suppressed carrier double sideband radio. Lots of people design things but that doesn't mean they are capable of applying those things in the real world to benefit the customer.
Designing something and fixing something is one thing. Trying to tune a transmitter with a misaligned bench is a whole different ballgame.

 

All fine and good when Chris s name is mentioned just about every radio shop out here knows him or has heard of him...nothing bad ever said about him by any of them. No disrespect to mark most people in the cb world/shops/techs have ever heard of him.....I'm not arguing about it with you it's what I know and have known for a long time. Just the way it is plain and simple

 

By you calling his customers stupid sez alot about you and the exact kind of person you really are...you don't have the right to judge anybody in this world it's not your job ...... nobody has the right to judge anyone in this world... that's for God almighty above to do upon each one of our judgements day

 

I wouldn't have cleaned that black garbage outta that radio either and I know #### fine Chris didn't do that to it. It was surely discussed by Chris and the customer that crap whatever the heck it is was in there. Guaranteed the customer who brought that radio in knew it was in there.... get real

 

Stupid might be a little harsh of a word for someone who thinks that it's necessary to run 10000 Watts to do the same thing that Barefoot Cobra 29 did in that video, although A wise man once said :
"a fool and his money are soon parted"
I'm just here to show you guys how to get the best performance for the least amount of money.
If you want to throw your money away that's your business but not everybody has money to throw away.

 

Not relavent to you what we spend our $$$ on. I work my ### off for everything I own.... talk to your buddy stringbean about a fool and his $$$$ and 10;000 watts means nothing to me or probably anybody else on here....

 

I wouldn't exactly call him a fool since he went to the School of Hard Knocks and he learned his lesson about Chris.
Some folks never learn.
He can do more with 4 watts than most folks can do with a thousand.
Only once he got to that point did his big amplifier even matter.
Prior to that all that power went to waste.
