good friend went to kllm under lease purchase. was extremely happy for about 6 months...then the miles dried up. i dont know if he gave them reason to "do him wrong", or if its just another bad lease purchase story. its a walk away lease, so he wasnt financially responsible for anything when he went elsewhere.

So are you saying Watkins Sheppard is better. I am in with them for sure on a pre-hire, but I am intimidated by their intensive 10 day orientation (even though I'm being told I shouldn't be after eight weeks on the range - which I am just about to begin). Kllm looks like they have 3-6 weeks extra training (i'll take the three), but I don't want to end up working for the likes of Swift and Werner after the horror stories and cheap wages I've heard about them.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm a newb coming out of a school and looking for pre-hires. Watkins Sheppard sounds like the best no question over the others available, but then I learned about Kllm. Oh, and I have a felony that I told Watkins Sheppard about and no problem so I am just curious if I am already set and shouldn't expect much more or if Kllm could be a little bit better

Watkins sheppard intimidates me only cause they have an only 10 day training thing and I'm hoping that's enough. I am supposed to be on a range for 8 weeks prior that, but you know how the school training works, or so I've heard

Much better off with WS. Open more doors later on down the road if u ever need. Have known lots of very happy drivers who got their start with them with no regrets, plus some still there. 10 day orientation isnt too bad, just checking on their drivers closely. That is a good thing in my opinion.

I heard watkins sheppard loses 80% during orientation. Am I just being a punk or what? I would be happy with what they offer

Okay, cool. Maybe I am cutting myself short. I did pass my tests in one day with all my endorsements that I wanted but that seems different to me than actually driving the rig. I have convenant as a back up, but can't imagine doing teams only as a last resort. Thanks for info

Take what they offer as a new driver and u will do just fine. Nothing to worry about. People say things like that in order to make new drivers nervous. Never worry about it, u will be fine.

    critters Thanks this.
