Isn't home that place you go when there is no place left to go?

It cracks me up to hear truck drivers so concerned about getting home, being home, staying home, etc., etc., ad nauseum... Why do people sign on to a job that requires extensive travel, and then complain about it?

Yes, it's great to enjoy the comforts of home, but, that ain't part of the job description. Soak it up when you can, but the wheels gotta' turn to get some cash to burn.

I've tried local work, and that's what it is... WORK, and it starts early, ends late, and leaves very little time for "family life". I get more rest, and, make more $$$$$ by running OTR.

Yes, find a niche where you're comfortable, but remember, you signed on to ride.

Try "P.I.&I. Motor Express" http://www.piimx.com I just went with them and they told me I will be home every night and every weekend with local, and home 3-4 nights a week and every weekend with regional, and for OTR home every weekend.
