transam had 1100 trucks 4 years ago
    has 1100 trucks today
40-50 people go thru orientation every week
so by my math 40-50 must quit every week
or 40-50 pay off the lease and live happily ever after
whenever my truck went to the shop i would fly off to get an abandoned truck
Always had my choice of 8-10 to go get
    yup leases are great.....................sarcasm intended
if your credit is bad what kind of business model can you set up for success if running a home is too much

No such thing as a fail safe lease ... there are only business owners who know how to run a business. All can be successful, all can be failures. Some are easier to succeed at, some are prone to failure ... the first step to running a successful business is the ability to sort that out.

Some people just have to find out the hard way then they come on here three months after crying how such and such company screwed them and their flat broke and have no money for food.

I guess what most (not all) are trying to say is: buying a truck is a business, your husband (or anyone really) can be the worlds greatest and hardest working truck driver, and still fail. If he wants to succeed at being an O/O or L/O he has to want to be a business owner (not just a driver). That means he has to handle all kinds of non-driving matters. (Insurance, permits, regulations, finding freight, etc....) if, he want's to learn and do this, GREAT!!! if he just wants to drive then forget it.

    Good Luck!

funny how you conveniently forget the multiple successes posted here.

Go find deiselfuelonly's thread and tell him how stupid he is for doing a lease. After that you can do the same for blairandgretchen, freightwhipper, and the rest of the Schneider choice drivers on ttr.

Btw, those Schneider Choice drivers are clearing about double your hourly wage while driving top of the line equipment.

    doesn't matter who is quoted
