Has anyone heard about Tennessee Steel Haulers?

Ace Doran switched their story... now it's 70/30 and their ppm is down to $1.55 before their cut... That's 1.085 to the truck... I guess they thought I was an idiot...

Bame, I see some of their guys around the Memphis,Tn area... Most of the ones I have talked with have been with them for years.Never heard any of them say anything bad about them. Of course the ones I talk to mostly run TN,KY,AR,IN,OH,IL kinda regional out of Nashville,TN. According to them they have good rates. I have hauled brokered loads through them that paid me 2.00 to 2.25 per mile.:biggrin_255: :biggrin_255: Mostly out of IN,OH into MS,TN

Dont know how they would be on your end there in TX as I dont go to TX (freight toooooo cheap)LOL

I talked to one of their former drivers the other day. He left them a month ago after being leased to them for 15 years. He said the reason was the rates. He says over the last four months,he averaged $1.28 to the truck and NO fuel surcharge.

That is only one EX contractor so take it for what it's worth.

I thought that sounded too good to be true. I was about to make that call myself at those rates
