While sitting at the Hook on I-81 just over the Va./Wv. line, enjoying my Sunday morning view of the parking lot circus, this occurred -

Now the backstory.... The Knight truck is illegally parked outside the last spot in that row, and has been since yesterday afternoon. Frankly, I'm mildly surprised he wasn't hit already, since where he is makes it extremely difficult to get around him to the next row over.
Now the Celadon truck was trying to back into a spot down towards the other end of the same row. After about 5 minutes of trying, he must have gotten frustrated and came flying out and down the lane doing at least 15-20 mph, which is pretty dang fast for a parking lot. Well, he went wheeling around the turn and must have forgotten there was a trailer behind him.
So, like the title asks, who is at fault?
Obviously the Celadon clown who was speeding and acting the ###, but I think Knight also has a little culpability for being parked where he shouldn't be. A fact I'm sure he'll forget to mention when he notifies his Safety office.....

    Discuss....

Eta- to clarify, mister green shorts is the Celadon driver.....:D

It's not illegal to park in an unmarked section...
It's only illegal if it's marked illegal.

Really? They called the cops? Thats just moronic. Can't they handle it like adults. This is why I close my curtains and just go to bed.

Survey says: Both of them, Mr Knight, for keeping his truck where it should not have been, and Mr Celadon, for getting frustrated, speeding, and a host of other things, including employment at Celadon....

Ok, maybe not technically illegal, but when you are blocking one half of a drive in a parking lot, it's #### ignorant at the very least.

Exactly. The police can't do anything unless the property owner has an issue, right?

    Pringles and Lonesome Thank this.
