i know its blurred but its also listed as a partial... really there is about 5% of rgns that can even scale 40k. and at 30 feet I guess that leave the rear deck to really get the money's worth

FYI - If you're using Windows Vista or newer Microsoft operating system you either have or can get the "snipping tool". The icon looks like a scissors in a circle. All you have to do is click and drag from corner to corner of an object on the screen and it will give you a nice .png image, way easier than photoing the screen, clearer too.

I dunno, my recent broker story is a guy from Landstar yesterday said, "Oh no, that's way too high".

I cut in and said, "Too low ?".

    He says, "... What ?" <puzzled>

I says, "Too low, I thought you said YOUR rate was TOO LOW... did you say too low ?"

landstar guy ,"indistinguishable muttering... OK, have a nice day" and hangs up the phone. lol.

What would you need on OD to make it worth it? All of my trucks haul at least one and sometimes 3-5 OD loads per week. With 35 open deck trucks, probably 1/3 have an oversize load on at all times. I think it is worth bump we get in the rate. Except for November-March there is plenty of daylight.

I am surprised by how poorly light heavy loads (45-55K lbs for RGN) pay. I expect a significant premium for these loads. It seems my competitors move them for no premium above the normal OD price.

I seriously doubt it was 45k. A lot of times in the notes it will list the correct weight for the load, which is usually different from the weight on the list of postings, that being said, if it was 45k, then it was no partial....
